The SMILE Club
Are you looking to meet other international
people in the area? The SMILE club provides "cheap and cheerful"
social activities for international singles, couples and families during evening
and weekends. There is no membership fee , all you have to do is "pay
your own way". So, come along and join us:
The SMILE club meets every Friday evening at
Dino's Restaurant from 19.00 - 22.00. There is a reserved table. Dino's is
at Stationsplein 22 (look for the green dinosaur neon sign) in Eindhoven, just
across the street from the train station. There are "permanent" hosts
for these evenings. Everyone speaks English, most are American or so traveled
that English is just easiest for them. Some nights only seven or eight people
will show up, other nights it can be 30 or more. You never know until you're
there. You can have dinner, just a cup of coffee, dessert or whatever you
want.
Moms and Tots
This International group meets informally at member's homes
throughout the Eindhoven region. If you have a baby or toddler, this is an
excellent resource for you. Contact information:
The American Mom's Group
This group is made up of American women who have young
children. Members meet informally and are also a great resource.
