 What Are Beanie Babies?

Beanie babies are plush beanbag critters a little bigger than the size of your fist.  Did you know that you can find beanie babies in almost any animal form there is?

Who Invented Beanie Babies and Why?

The genius that invented beanie babies is Ty Warner.

Ty Warner decided to make small plush animals so that kids could afford them with their pocket money. But then adults thought that beanie babies were cute and they have more money then kids do and since adults were willing to pay more store raised their prices to $7- (they’re usually $5-).

I don't think that is fair.

What Is A Beanie Babie Retirement?

Beanie babies are usually out on the market for around three years then they are retired. Which means they are taken off the market.

Being taken off the market means that they are becoming retired.

Why Is It Important that You Keep The Beanie Babies And Tags In Good Condition?

Well for one, if you don’t keep your beanie babies in good condition no one will buy them. But if the tag is in good condition then you can still sell the beanie baby for half of its price if its been played with as long as the tag is in good condition.

Where Can You Find Beanie Babies?

Beanie babies are most popular in U.S.A. but you can find them in Canada Germany and England.
