We've made a lot of great friends while living in the Netherlands. We've also kept in touch with our friends from around the world. Scott and Kim live in Maastricht, NL. Originally from Wisconsin, Both Scott and Kim work for Medtronic, a US company. They have two kids, Matthew and Rachel. Todd and Scott went to highschool together in Monona. We get together as much as we can. We've shared the Thanksgiving meals the past two years. You can check out their homepage at The Singer Family Our friends, Sham and Janice had a baby in August. We were invited over to their house the day Nayati was born. We celebrated with champagne. Sham and Janice are originally from South Africa. Emille and Erie live just down the street from us. They are a lot of fun and we get together often. Emille loaned us a digital camera for a weekend. Thanks a bunch. The Birds, Neil, Rachel and their four sons (Robert, James, Michael and Alex) have been a lifeline for us. (So no pictures, I'm working on it) Originally from England, they have lived in the Netherlands for the past seven years. Their youngest son, Alex is Raine's best friend. Rachel and I go to Jazzercise three times a week. She has been a wealth of information for a newcomer to the area. They are always the first to host a party and we look forward to the millennium celebrations on New Year's Eve. Our dear friends who've ventured across the pond to see us include, Jenny, Allison, Paul and Eric. It's great to see a face from home. Hint, Hint!!!!!!!!!!
