The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe |
||
Book written by C. S. Lewis Report written by Ryann Streicher The
lion the witch and the wardrobe is about four children Peter Susan Edmund
and Lucy who find another world throe a wardrobe door in the professors
giant old house. Lucy
is the first to find Narnia. When she comes back and tells her friends
about the adventure that she had in Narnia they just think that she is
telling tales. But later when they are hiding from the tour guide and her
tour they have to go to the wardrobe room. Just incase the tour guide came
into the room, they hid in the wardrobe they left the door open, of
coarse, because they knew that it is very foolish to shut them in a
wardrobe. Then they found Narnia and meet Aslan the great lion and help
get rid of the evil that has taken control of Narnia.
I
like this book for two reasons, one because of the way that C. S. Lewis
writes the book and he will keep reminding you that you are in a different
world and a different time. Two because it makes you use your imagination,
which is something, most people don’t use a lot especially older people.
And it reminded me that your imagination is something that you have to
have no matter how old you are because with out an imagination there could
not be a place such as Narnia, a world of magic. And after I read this book and the magician’s nephew the more I thought about it and now I believe there is probably a world within our own and we just have to find our way there. |
