My name is Ryann and I am 13 years old. My parents made me move to the Netherlands last year.  Life here has its ups and downs.  I go to the International Secondary School of Eindhoven. I have loads of friends from all over the world.  They are all really cool, I like almost every one I know at school, except the Dutch kids on the other half of the school. they are rude and nasty to us. they try to trip us in the halls constantly, last time a girl tried and I stepped on her leg because she does that to us every Wednesday on our way to the gym, and I was sick of it.

Last year I went to the local school in our village.  I couldn't stand it.  The classes were in Dutch and I didn't know the language. the teacher didn't help at all either. he said I didn't try to speak Dutch, well he didn't even speak Dutch to me and if he said something in Dutch and I told him to slow down so I could understand, he switched to English. I can't stand him he was the worst teacher in the world.

My hobbies are horses, pokemon, reading Harry Potter books and writing my own stories. I am taking cello lessons with a wonderful Dutch woman.  She has played all over Europe and even wrote a book on teaching and playing the cello.  I played for two years back in Wisconsin.  

My favorite food is pizza.  There isn't a pizza hut in Eindhoven but there are in Belgium. My dad makes a pretty good pizza so that will do while I'm in the Netherlands.
