On the second floor in English (first floor in Dutch) there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. If you have moved house to Europe you'll probably already know that stairwells are much more narrow.  We were able to get most of our furniture into the house via the stairs or double window on the second floor.  The movers were quite creative.  The only casualty was our queen size box spring.  So Todd and I sleep futon-style.

Second Floor

The children's beds took up so much space that we decided  to buy them each bunk beds.   Ryann's room is located towards the front of the house.  Raine's room is the smallest bedroom but surprisingly one can fit a lot of stuff in it. The picture below is the master bedroom.  Quite a good size actually, we now use it as the computer/ den/guest room.  Our bathroom is kind of small by American standards but if suits our needs. The walls are tiled up to the ceiling so it stays pretty clean.   We have also have WC (watercloset) on the ground floor.
